DIAGNOnodent

The DIAGNOdent reflects light through the enamel and other tooth structures to detect decay. This laser diagnostic tool can read & detect the very early stages of decay on teeth and around fillings that may not even show up on an x-ray. This makes it possible to remove decay at a very early stage, preventing large cavities and loss of tooth structure.

The DIAGNOdent is completely painless
and, while not eliminating the need for x-rays altogether (we cannot detect cavities between the teeth or under fillings with it), the DIAGNOdent, along with the intra-oral camera, can reduce the number of x-rays needed for cavity detection. You'll be amazed at the accuracy of this new device!

J-5 Myomonitor

The J-5 Myomonitor is like a massage for your muscles that allows us to relax fatigued muscles and determine their optimal resting place.

By using this device, we can massage the sore, tired, spasming muscles surrounding the mouth and jaw and putting them at physiologic rest. This helps our guests who have "problem" bites by placing them into more comfortable, relaxed position . This especially helps our patients who have TMJ/TMD problems.

K7 Evaluation System

The K7 is a computer that analyzes the way your jaws move, reads muscle activity levels, and records any noises your jaw joints make - all in conjunction with the J5 Myomonitor TENS. The K7 helps us to determine your optimal bite, a position in which the jaw joints & muscles are relaxed & comfortable.
